Companion and faithful friend of Claude Monet, master of Cézanne and Gauguin, inspiring Seurat, defending Signac, Pissarro is a major artist. Multilingual, committed intellectual and activist, listening to the young generations, his powerful and constantly evolving work offers a unique panorama of the research that led the circles of Impressionist and Postimpressionists of the second half of the nineteenth century.
