Pablo Picasso: A Life of Art and Revolution

Born in 1881 in Málaga, Spain, Pablo Picasso is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

Trained in the fine arts from a very young age, he settled in Paris in 1904, where he encountered avant-garde movements and developed bold styles, such as Cubism.

His life, as rich as his body of work, was marked by passions, political commitments, and inexhaustible creativity, right up until his death in 1973.

The Picasso Museum in Paris, housed in a private mansion in the Marais district, displays over 5,000 works—including paintings, sculptures, and ceramics.

It offers an immersive journey into the world of an artist who revolutionized art, spanning from Les Demoiselles d'Avignon to his final creations.

A must-visit for art lovers and culture-seeking travelers!

EXHIBITION

The Metamorphoses of Guernica

From April 8 to September 6, 2026, at the Picasso-Paris Museum

The Picasso-Paris Museum presents a unique virtual reality experience dedicated to Guernica—Picasso’s masterpiece—tracing its history from its creation in 1937 to its status as a global icon.
This immersive experience allows visitors to explore key locations in the painting's history, such as the artist's Paris studio and the ruins of Gernika, through the firsthand accounts of Dora Maar and Juan Larrea.
It offers a new way to understand this major work, creating a dialogue with the museum's own collections.
