PARISIAN GARDENS

Paris, often described as the city of lights, is also a green city dotted with magnificent gardens. These spaces offer a peaceful escape from urban hustle and bustle, inviting Parisians and visitors to recharge their batteries.

One of the most emblematic is the Luxembourg Gardens, created in 1612 by Marie de Medicis. This French-style garden, with its impeccably maintained flower beds, fountains and sculptures, is a popular place for walking and relaxing.

Not far from there, the Jardin des Tuileries extends between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. Designed by the famous gardener André Le Nôtre, it is a perfect example of classical French style, with its symmetrical paths and reflecting pools.

For a more romantic experience, the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement offers picturesque landscapes with its steep cliffs, lake and caves. This park is a true gem of nature, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Finally, the Parc de Bercy, located in the 12th arrondissement, is a modern and dynamic green space, perfectly integrated into a district undergoing full renewal. Inaugurated in 1997, this park extends over 14 hectares and is divided into three distinct gardens, each offering a unique atmosphere:

The Yitzhak Rabin Garden, named after the former Israeli minister, is a tribute to peace, landscaped with expansive lawns, flower beds and majestic trees.

The romantic garden, with its small bodies of water, its islands connected by wooden footbridges and its walled gardens.

And the vegetable garden, reminiscent of the market gardening past of the Bercy district, offers shared vegetable gardens where vegetables and aromatic herbs are grown.

In addition to these three gardens, the Parc de Bercy offers many other attractions such as the Bercy Village, with its shops and restaurants, transforming an old wine market into a place of conviviality and shopping, as well as the Cinémathèque Française, offering exhibitions and film screenings.
