PICASSO EXHIBITION: “OLGA PICASSO”

Situated in the Marais, Picasso museum is a
nice mansion called the hotel Salé where the permanent collection is often
open with temporal exhibition. This one is dedicated to his first wife Olga,
showing a production of some of Picasso’s major works between 1917 and 1935.

Why not walking in a very nice quarter of
Paris in the 4th district where you will enjoy the 17th
century as well as the typical Jewish quarter of Paris?
It is meaning marshy in French because till
the 17th century, the river seine was often floating in the zone
of Paris and nobody was living there.
But after modernization and more control of
the river, a new quarter of Paris is born and a new social class appear: the
bourgeois.
They left us many beautiful mansions considerate
like a small Versailles; and as nobody is leaving anymore in the 19th
century, it will be a new kind of people: Jewish immigrant coming from the
east of Europe.
You can now pass and admire this unique
district where some original and fantastic food make difficult to resist like
Pouchkine situated now in the left bank on 155 Boulevard Saint-Germain in the
district n° 6.
